Because we believe that justice requires commitment and service from people of faith and non-faith backgrounds and belief systems, we accept, embrace, and encourage people of all faiths and religious backgrounds to serve with us.  Even so, our Episcopal Urban Intern Program was founded, is rooted in, and maintains strong connections to the Episcopal tradition.

Here are some of the amazing partners who help make a Year of Service possible for our corps members:

Church Partners

Holy Faith Episcopal Church

In 1991 when Bishop Fred Borsch and the Rev. Can. Gary Commins founded EUIP, Holy Faith was the site which housed and hosted the EUI corps. Since that time, Holy Faith, its congregation, and the community of Inglewood have been strong partners of our program.

Holy Faith serves as the partner congregation for our Inglewood House corps members.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church

The congregation of St. Mary’s has hosted our Koreatown corps members for several years – opening their rectory to our corps as a home during their year of service.

St. Mary’s serves as the partner congregation for our Koreatown House corps members.

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church

Since 2009, St. Stephen’s has hosted our Hollywood EUIP corps members in the church rectory and opened office space for EUIP staff.

St. Stephen’s serves as the partner congregation for our Hollywood House corps members.

Church of the Angels

Church of the Angels contributes on-site parking for corps members serving in the Pasadena area.

St. Michael’s of All Angels

St. Michael’s helps provide Episcopal Dodger Night Tickets for EUIP corps members.

St. Mathew’s Pacific Palisades

A long time partner of Jubilee Consortium, St. Mathew’s has recognized Jubilee & EUIP with several generous grants to aid Jubilee programming.
